Since 1887, we have been manufacturing horse and leather care products here in southern Lower Saxony and selling them worldwide. In the meantime, we are the third generation of siblings to run the family business - we combine tradition with the spirit of the times and have always stood for genuine products of high quality at a fair price.

Some of our products are already made from recycled material or recyclable - we are working on the rest! #challengeaccepted

The original brands Parisol Horse Care & B&E Leather Care will now be merged into the new strong brand Bense & Eicke in the course of the relaunch in 2021. We are happy if you decide to buy a product from our manufactory and do our best

In the processes in our manufactory, the focus is on people & nature. Honesty, responsibility, team spirit and open cooperation are values that we live by every day. When selecting raw materials and recipes, we attach great importance to natural ingredients and maintain long-standing relationships with our suppliers. Many recipes are already purely natural. Our daily task is to act as resource-consciously as possible in the manufacture of our products.

Relaunch zu der neuen Marke Bense & Eicke

Die beiden Marken Parisol Pferdepflege und B&E Lederpflege werden zu einer starken Marke Bense & Eicke zusammengelegt und die Produkte bekommen einen frischen, modernen Look.

2018

Recipes go natural

With products such as HorseDeo, Natural Hoof Oil and the HautFein and HaarFein soaps, the first purely natural products are launched on the market, and at the same time the foundation is laid for further purely natural products.

2016

#benseundeicke partner team (formerly #parisolpartner) is founded.

A partner team of riders, horse people and breed associations with different backgrounds and riding styles - with a common attitude of fairness to the horse - is formed.

2015

Dietmar Reinecke zieht sich aus dem operativen Geschäft zurück

Dietmar Reinecke zieht sich aus dem operativen Geschäft zurück, u.a. widmet er sich der Imkerei. Das junge Führungsteam besinnt sich gleichzeitig auf traditionelle Werte und schlägt neue Wege für die Zukunft ein.

2014

Emergence of a GmbH & Co. KG

In January 2014, the senior boss Albert Reinecke passed away at the age of 86. In the same year, the company was renamed GmbH & Co KG. With the siblings Wiebke Winkler and Christoph Reinecke, the 3rd generation of the Reinecke family enters the management.

2011

Relaunch and 125th company anniversary

In 2011, a relaunch of the Parisol and B&E brand design was undertaken. In the following year 2012, the 125th anniversary of the company was celebrated.Bense & Eicke is one of the leading companies producing horse and leather care products.

Ein echtes Familienunternehmen

Mit Christoph Reinecke steigt 2004 die dritte Generation in das elterliche Unternehmen ein und wird 2006 Geschäftsführer.

In 1999, the product design was revised.

1989

Foundation of the limited partnership

In 1989, the trained chemist Dietmar Reinecke, son of Albert Reinecke, became a partner in the company and a limited partnership was founded.Dietmar Reinecke has already been working in the company since 1977.

1986/87

Umzug an den heutigen Firmensitz

1986 wurde durch einen Großbrand die komplette Produktion des Unternehmens zerstört. Ein neues Gebäude im Einbecker Ortsteil Edemissen wurde erworben und umgebaut, so dass die Produktion bereits nach vier Wochen wieder aufgenommen werden konnte. In den darauffolgenden Jahren wurden die Gebäude um zwei moderne Produktions- und Lagerstätten erweitert und den heutigen Bedürfnissen angepasst. 1987 wurde das 100-jährige Firmenjubiläum gefeiert.

1983

Participation in spoga horse for the first time

For the first time, the company exhibits at the equestrian sports trade fair spoga/ gafa in Cologne, thus intensifying its foreign business.

1960

With the Parisol brand, the company specialises in horse care.

At the beginning of the 1960s, Albert Reinecke laid the foundation for the further development of the company in the field of horse care. The horse care programme of the Parisol brand was expanded and optimised. In 1965, the company headquarters were moved to the Einbeck suburb of Edemissen.

1958

Die Firma geht in den Besitz der Familie Reinecke über

Am 10. Januar 1958 erwarb Albert Reinecke die Firma Bense & Eicke mit allen Rechten, Kunden, Rezepturen und Markenrechten. Zu dieser Zeit wurden u.a. spezielle Lederbeschichtungsfarben, insbesondere für Fußbälle, hergestellt. Bekannte Unternehmen wie Adidas, Puma und Moll gehörten zu den Abnehmern.

1936

Firmenverbund Walter Schmitt Hannover

1936 wurde die Firma Bense & Eicke von Herrn Walter Schmidt aus Hannover aufgekauft und gehörte bis 1958 seinem Firmenverbund an. In den 1940er Jahren absolvierte Albert Reinecke seine Ausbildung zum Kaufmann in der Firma und übernimmt danach die Geschäftsführung.

1905

Die erste Hufsalbe wird hergestellt

Nach einem Großbrand im Jahre 1905 wurde das Unternehmen im neuen Industriegebiet von Einbeck wieder aufgebaut. Zu dieser Zeit wurde bereits unter dem Markennamen Parisol die erste Hufsalbe hergestellt. Auch Lederpflegeprodukte und spezielle Lederfarben wurden produziert und weltweit vertrieben.

The company was founded

The company Bense & Eicke was founded in 1887 by the merchant Bense and the pharmacist Eicke in Einbeck. The production of tanning auxiliaries for leather factories and tanneries all over the world made up the core business at that time.
