Dina Hodde

Dina has been a loyal user of our products for a long time. When she visited our stand at Spoga 2025, we immediately hit it off – her attitude, her way of working and her respectful treatment of horses won us over right away. Dina not only shares our values, she lives them – and that's exactly what makes her the perfect partner. We are delighted about the collaboration and look forward to everything that is yet to come!

My horse:

Somehow, all the horses in my stable are my horses ;-)

What do I do (school, job, etc.):

I am a passionate dressage trainer, both on the ground and in the saddle. Handwork is my specialty, and horsemanship is an important element of basic training for me.

My social media account:

What am I reporting on my account:

My training philosophy, training dressage horses up to Grand Prix level, insights into my lessons, manual work (piaffe & passage), managing our horses.

How did I come to horses / what is my "equine" career:

Through my mother, who has been riding since she was 10 years old and inspired me to take up the sport. At first, I was only allowed to ride during the holidays and spent the rest of the time doing vaulting. From the age of 10, I received excellent private lessons on various horses, and that's how it all started. My path was greatly influenced by difficult horses of my own. They forced me to leave the normal path and look to the right and left of the usual way. That's how I came to horsemanship and also to handwork. This had a great impact on me and significantly influenced my philosophy.

My absolute favorite horse:

Esperada (aka Elsa, Ellsbells, Elsbett)

My most beautiful experience in connection with the horses:

There have been numerous experiences, both big and small, such as performing at the Gothenburg Horse Show with a very special horse. I am particularly grateful for the many special people in my life whom I have only been able to meet through horses.

What is important to me in dealing, keeping and training with the horse:

It is important to me that the horses live as naturally as possible, that they get plenty of exercise, are fed individually and are always treated fairly. My goal is to treat each other with respect and trust. For me, horses should not have to endure anything, but should be physically and mentally capable of performing the tasks assigned to them. Then they enjoy themselves and learn with ease. Horses want to please.

Life motto:

Honesty is the best policy!

Personal tip for our followers:

Listen carefully to your horses, observe them and trust your instincts. Horses should not be forced to endure anything!
