Gianna Regenbrecht
Leonie and Gianna met at the trainer course in Münster and that's how we got in touch with Gianna. We were immediately impressed by Gianna's positive, uncomplicated and infectious manner and visited the para-dressage rider directly for our first joint photo shoot. We are looking forward to our journey together. ♥︎

What do I report on my account:
My channel is about my horses, me and para-dressage. I try to share as much of my everyday life as possible, give you a glimpse behind the scenes and show you what is possible in a wheelchair.
How did I come to the horses / how is my "equestrian" career:
I got into equestrian sports through my grandfather, who grew up with horses himself and was a real horse lover. He was also the one who always took me to riding lessons when I was a little girl. My accident turned my life upside down, but my love for horses remains unchanged, and that's how I found my way into para-sports.
My absolute favorite horse:
All those who are in my stable, of course. :-)
My most beautiful experience in connection with the horses:
The trust that every single horse I have sat on since my paraplegia has shown me.
What is important to me in dealing, keeping and training with the horse:
Good riding, good feed and daily grazing are the basic recipe, plus lots of love and the necessary amount of calmness. I want to have the horses by my side as friends and build a close friendship with them. That doesn't happen overnight and takes a lot of time, patience and love!
Life motto:
There's nothing that can't be done!
Personal tip for our followers:
If there's one thing I've learned in my wheelchair, it's to keep testing my personal limits and not give up. It's not easy by any means, but it's worth it when you realize that you've outgrown yourself!
Greatest strength:
My willpower
Biggest weakness:
I'm very bad at saying no.
Favorite Bense & Eicke product:
StarFinish & HorseDeo
Bense & Eicke products that I can't do without in my daily stable routine:
StarFinish & Natural Hoof Cream
Product from the equestrian sport, which I always have there or love to use:
Riding gloves that are also ideal for wheelchair users.
Compensatory sports and other hobbies:
Strength training, my dog Silas and travelling
Favorite food:
Everything my boyfriend cooks :-)
Favorite vacation destination:
Italy
What would I take with me to a lonely island:
A good book, plenty of food and, if there's enough space, my horses, of course :-D
